I came up with a way of explaining enlightenment and mind using the analogy of a YouTuber Let's-Player and a Videogame

Imagine you were playing a videogame and there was a YouTuber watching your "stream" and commenting on it all of the time. That's mind.

Enlightenment is realizing that you're the player, not the YouTuber.

To realize you're the player, you have to be still, so the YouTuber has nothing to comment on. When you play the game and give the YouTuber things to comment on, it's easy to mistake the YouTuber for yourself because you're moving and thinking about what you're doing.

When you are still, the YouTuber doesn't know what to comment on, but they can't shut up because it's their job to keep talking, so they'll just start commenting on nonsense and random stuff.

When you observe this, you'll see that the YouTuber's commentary isn't you, it's just a stream of commentary happening alongside your gameplay.
